Visitor Policy

Are you interested in taking a course without worrying about taking tests?  Are you interested in learning how to improve your skills in a specific area?  Would you like to take a class at a reduced rate? Taking a course as a Visitor could be for you!

The Visitor Policy allows an individual to take a University Center course for a reduced rate of $100 (maximum 2 courses per semester). As a Visitor, you will be able to sit in on the class and listen to lecture, but are not required to turn in any assignments, tests or any other graded work. Visitors are responsible for purchasing the required books or any other classroom materials needed. This policy only applies to an individual who is not currently taking any classes in the Regental system, when there is space available in the class and with instructor permission. This is essentially a great educational opportunity for the benefit of learning and interest and not for credit.

If you are interested in participating in the Visitor Policy, please contact Linda Roehrich at 605-367-5640 or linda.roehrich@SDUniversitycenter.org .   Below is a list of past and present courses participating in the Visitor Policy. If there is a class not on this list and is not a lab that you would like to visit, please check with Anna Peterson to see if the course is available and possible participation in the Visitor Policy.
